This workshop has been one of my favorite courses. It is the perfect environment for a new writer to be exposed to brilliant works of writing (short stories, in particularly) and to develop their own artistic voice based on these inspirations. The workshops were especially eye opening in being able to hear how other people read and interpret your writing, and also in being able to discuss the work of others in ways that can allow you to improve your own pieces. This course reignited my love for creative writing.F
I LOVED this course. I think it made me a better writer because of how Professor McGhee gave us craft talks, and the wide cross-genre selection of books we read allowed me to better understand the diversity of ways in which different craft elements could be utilized to create stories.
